About YFLP

The Young Faculty Laureate Program (YFLP) Award is a prestigious initiative of IEEE SPACE 2026 aimed at recognizing and encouraging outstanding early-career faculty contributing to research and innovation in the domains of Space, Aerospace, and Defence.

The program provides a high-visibility platform for young faculty from premier Indian institutions to showcase their research, gain national recognition, and engage with experts from academia, industry, ISRO, DRDO, and leading global organizations.

Call for Research Summary

Submit a 200-word research summary aligned with:

  • Space Systems & Technologies
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Defence & Strategic Technologies

Format Guidelines

  • Maximum 200 words
  • Single spacing
  • As per the prescribed template

Selected summaries will be published in the Official Conference Booklet and the YFLP Compendium released during the conference inauguration.

Award & Benefits

🏆 Award Money: ₹20,000

The award amount can be utilized for conference registration, accommodation, and travel expenses. (Conference registration is mandatory for all selected participants.)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Young faculty members who have joined a premier Indian institution within the last 5 years
  • Mandatory Documents:
    1. Declaration Certificate from the Head of Institution specifying the joining date along with an NOC for conference participation
    2. Resume / C.V
  • IEEE AESS Membership preferred
